CSC RO I welcomes its new Assistant Regional Director in a simple ceremony

A brand new day began as the Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. I (CSC RO I) welcomes its new Assistant Regional Director, Director III Cornelia M. Rillera who assumed office on 3 January 2022. She was welcomed with cheers and roses by her new CSC family led by CSC RO I Regional Director Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal during the Welcome Program which coincided with the first Monday Convocation at CSC RO I on 3 January 2022.

The 2022 Search for Outstanding Government Workers is on

The Civil Service Commission, through Memorandum Circular No. 1, s. 2022, has announced the acceptance of nominations to the 2022 Search for Outstanding Government Workers under the Honor Awards Program (HAP).

The award categories under the HAP are the (1) Presidential Lingkod Bayan, (2) CSC Pagasa, and (3) Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan.

These awards are the highest recognition given to individuals or group of individuals who have excelled or shown utmost dedication and commitment in government service. All government workers in the career and non-career service including elective and appointive barangay officials, except those under job order or contract of service, may be nominated.

CSC Luzon Cluster Honors Chair Alice in a Send-off Program Held in Historic Ilocos Region: A BARRAGE OF CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE

The CSC Luzon cluster represented by Directors IV and III of Regions 1 to 5, NCR and CAR honored CSC Chairperson Alicia Dela Rosa-Bala in a send-off program held at Tito Bert’s Farm in Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur in the evening of December 13, 2021, with the theme: “Jamming in the moonlight: Dancing and Giggling with Alice”. The first ever face-to-face gathering of CSC Luzon leaders with Chair Bala since the onset of the Covid 19 Pandemic was filled with boisterous conviviality that reverberated with mirth and laughter to the delight of the honoree and participants. OHRMD and OFAM Directors Fernando M. Porio and Ma. Victoria Salazar, as well as Director Carlo Bala and other staff of the Office of the Chairman also attended the memorable event.

BJMP-ROI and DepEd-ROI Receive PRIME-HRM Bronze Award for Excellence in Human Resource Management

The Civil Service Commission conferred the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Regional Office I (BJMP-ROI) through CSC Resolution No. 2100916 dated November 19, 2021 and the Department of Education, Regional Office I (DepEd-ROI) through CSC Resolution No. 2100923 dated November 19, 2021 for their success in the pursuit of excellent human resource management through the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission.

CSC-RO1 Surpasses 2021 PRIME-HRM Targets Amidst Pandemic

Despite the challenges and concerns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Policies and Systems Evaluation Division (PSED) takes pride in reporting its accomplishments relative to the implementation of the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). PRIME-HRM is a flagship advocacy of the Civil Service Commission which aims to elevate public sector human resource management to a level of excellence through the assessment, assistance, and awarding processes of HRM systems, competencies and practices using HRM Maturity Level indicators that are at par with global HRM standards.

CDT MARKS 2021 with REMARKABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Concept Development Team (CDT) was established with the primary task of spearheading two (2) traditional undertakings of CSC-ROI, namely: the Recognition Program and Family Day. Despite the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and austerity measures, the CDT was able to come-out with strategies and initiatives to ensure the success of their planned activities.

CSC-RO1 CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH APLOMB

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office No.1 (CSC-RO1) celebrated the Christmas season with a two-day meaningful events culminating Calendar Year 2021. On December 20 morning, the Policies and Systems Evaluation Division (PSED) facilitated the Year-End Assessment, highlighting the accomplishments of CSC-RO1 and the various work units, Divisions and Field Offices, respectively. In the afternoon, the PAGWADAN conducted its General Assembly and gift-giving activity.

CSC RO I confers Gantimpala Agad Awards to PNP Region 1 Director Peralta, Pugo, La Union Police Team

Director Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office I, along with Director Edgar F. Asuncion of the CSC La Union Field Office, conferred Gantimpala Agad Awards (GAA) to PBGen Emmanuel B Peralta, Director of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 1, and to the team from the Pugo, La Union Police Station composed of PEMS Erwin R Viloria, PSSg Cherry Anne D Olaviano, Pat Cesar B Estoesta Jr, during the flag raising ceremony held at the PNP Police Regional Office 1 Grounds, San Fernando City, La Union on 6 December 2021.

CSC reminds government employees on stricter sexual harassment policy

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) urged government employees to be vigilant about their behavior as it reminded them on the stricter rules governing sexual harassment.

The CSC said that sexual harassment covers not only physical or verbal acts but also those done using technology. This may include unwanted sexual misogynistic, transphobic, homophobic, and sexist remarks and comments, committed whether publicly or through direct and private messages; invasion of victim’s privacy through cyberstalking and incessant messaging; uploading and sharing without the victim’s consent any form of media that contains photos, voice, or video with sexual content; and any unauthorized recording and sharing of any of the victim’s photos, videos, or any information online.

In connection with the refund of Examination Fees for the cancelled March 15, 2020 CSE-PPT in Region 1, please be advised that this Office issues Region 1 Guidelines on Refund of Examination Fees (https://tinyurl.com/cscro1RefundGuidelines) dated 21 May 2021.

NOTE: *1. The conduct of CSE-PPT in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur testing center is exclusively for

those who applied last July 18, 2021 but was deferred/postponed. No regular

CSE-PPT will be conducted due to the limited number of available test

administrators and allowable number of examinees in the testing center. The

CSC Ilocos Sur Field Office SHALL NOT ACCEPT applications from the public.

**2. The conduct of CSE-PPT in Dagupan City and Laoag City testing centers is only for

previously received agency requests exclusive for their employees. No regular

CSE-PPT will be conducted due to the limited number of available test

administrators and allowable number of examinees in the testing center.

The CSC Urdaneta City and CSC Ilocos Norte Field Offices SHALL NOT

ACCEPT individual applications from the public.

***3. The number of applicants for the regular CSE-PPT to be conducted in Lingayen,

Pangasinan is limited due to the allowable number of examinees in the testing

****4. The number of applicants for the regular CSE-PPT to be conducted in San Fernando

City, La Union is limited due to the allowable number of examinees in the testing

Center. Those who applied last July 18, 2021 but was deferred/postponed are

deemed accepted and need not apply.

Acceptance of applications for Regular CSE-PPT in Lingayen, Pangasinan and San Fernando City, La Union shall be on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis and shall be closed any time before the deadline once the target number of applicants in the said test centers is reached. No representative is allowed in the filing of applications.

You may access/click this Application Form (CS Form No. 100) or you may be download it from CSCRO1 website at www.ro1.csc.gov.ph. The application form may be printed/reproduced using legalsize bond paper and should be printed on both sides (back-to-back).

Applicants are advised to ensure that their Application Forms are already properly filled-out with I.D. pictures attached before they proceed to the venue for filing. ONLY properly accomplished Application Forms of qualified applicants with complete requirements will be processed/accepted.
