Congratulations to the Department of Science and Technology –Region 1!

After successfully complying with the requirements on the four (4) core Human Resource Management systems, namely Recruitment Selection and Placement (RSP), Learning and Development (L&D), Performance Management (PM) and Rewards and Recognition (R&R), the Department of Science and Technology – Region 1 (DOST-RO1) was conferred with a Certificate of Recognition on each of the above-mentioned HR system by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office No.1 (CSC-RO1).

 

The awarding activity was conducted on October 26, 2020 during the flag-raising ceremony at the DOST-RO1, City of San Fernando, La Union. The CSC-RO1 delegation was composed of Dir. IV Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal, Dir. III Josephine R. Altura and Walfredo C. Laudencia, Jr. In behalf of the DOST-RO1, Dir. IV Armando Q. Ganal, Jr. and the members of the various HR committees received the four (4) Certificates of Recognition.

In his acceptance speech, Dir. Ganal expressed his gratitude to the CSC-RO1 management and attributed DOST-RO1’s success to the collaborative effort of the entire workforce, particularly the HRMO and the other HR Committees and their respective Secretariat.

With this achievement, DOST-RO1 has qualified for the possible conferment of the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award upon final validation and deliberation of the Human Resource Policies and Systems Office (HRPSO), CSC Central Office. Here’s wishing DOST-RO1 good luck as they resume their PRIME-HRM journey onwards to higher Maturity Levels.
