The Civil Service Commission conferred the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Regional Office I (BJMP-ROI) through CSC Resolution No. 2100916 dated November 19, 2021 and the Department of Education, Regional Office I (DepEd-ROI) through CSC Resolution No. 2100923 dated November 19, 2021 for their success in the pursuit of excellent human resource management through the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission.

 As these two (2) agencies were able to manage and implement the process-defined (Maturity Level II) human resource management in Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP), Learning and Development (L&D), Performance Management (PM), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R), the CSC-ROI through its Regional Director Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal handed over the glass plaque symbolizing the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award on December 10, 2021 at BJMP-ROI, Parian, City of San Fernando, La Union and December 16, 2021 at the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, City of San Fernando, La Union respectively, in simple yet meaningful programs hosted by the awardee-agencies. Among the attendees were JSSupt. Arnel U. Peralta and JSupt. Nory S. Ubaña of BJMP-ROI, Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino and OIC-Assistant Regional Director Ronald B. Castillo of DepEd-ROI together with their key personnel who have all played a pivotal role in laying down the foundation for the highest standard of public service delivery in their respective agency.

Along with the glass plaque are the privileges that the agencies can now enjoy as part of the incentive package for PRIME-HRM Bronze Awardees. Truly, the experiences of BJMP-ROI and DepEd-ROI in their PRIME-HRM journey connotes that without hard work, nothing grows but weeds. (Liahona G. Javier)
